Why Steelcrest Precision
- How you'll learn Experienced operators train the people coming up. You'll learn on the machines you'll actually run, alongside people who've been on them for years, with formal check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days that go both directions. With more than 100 CNC machines across turning, milling, grinding, EDM, and fabrication, there's room to cross-train and keep adding to what you can do.
- What you'll make Our parts go into aerospace and defense programs, medical devices, automotive tier supply, food and beverage equipment, agricultural and construction machinery, consumer products, and warehouse automation. Some are one-piece replacements for equipment that's been out of production for decades; others are recurring production releases. Tolerances run to ±0.0002 inch, verified on Hexagon CMMs before anything ships.
- Why it holds Steelcrest has been machining in Wauseon since 1983 and is part of the Wauseon Company family of brands. We're ISO 9001:2015 certified, which means the processes you'll work to are documented rather than improvised. And we're still growing — which is what creates the openings to move up, or move across into quality, programming, or another department entirely.
