Steelcrest Precision offers CNC turning, CNC milling, grinding, EDM, and metal fabrication under one roof in Wauseon, Ohio. Turning includes single-spindle, dual-spindle/turret, Swiss, live tooling, quick-turn, and gantry-load work. Milling covers 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, and dual-turret multi-tasking. With more than 100 CNC machines, most programs run start to finish in one facility. 

Steelcrest machines all grades of steel, specialty metals, composites, and engineered plastics. The shop produces build-to-print parts, sub-assemblies, and complete tooling packages from virtually any material. If you have an unusual alloy or a material substitution question, send the print and our team will confirm machinability before quoting. 

Yes. Steelcrest runs 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling, plus dual-turret and dual-axis multi-tasking centers. Five-axis machining reduces the number of setups on complex geometries, which improves feature-to-feature accuracy and shortens lead time on parts that would otherwise need multiple fixtures. 

Steelcrest routinely holds tolerances to ±0.0005" on machined features, with tolerances to ±0.0002" and controlled surface finishes down to 8 Ra achieved through our grinding and EDM departments. Automatic surface, OD, and Blanchard grinding, honing, wire EDM, and sinker EDM handle the critical features that milling and turning alone can't reach. Send your print and we'll confirm what's achievable on your specific geometry. 

Wire EDM cuts a profile all the way through a workpiece with a charged wire, making it the right choice for tight internal corners, thin sections, and delicate profiles. Sinker (ram) EDM burns a shaped electrode into the material to create blind cavities, keyways, and complex pockets. Steelcrest uses both when a feature is too hard, too fine, or too intricate to mill. 

Both. Steelcrest handles production quantities ranging from low-volume, complex tooling projects to high-volume component runs. Low-volume and prototype work is quoted the same way as production — send the print, quantity, and material, and we'll price the run that fits your program. 

No fixed minimum order quantity. Because setup cost is spread across the run, per-piece pricing improves with volume — we'll show you the price breaks at several quantities so you can decide where the economics work for your program.

 Yes. Steelcrest Precision is ISO 9001 certified. We machine to AS9100-compliant processes and are pursuing full AS9100 certification, with CMM inspection and first article documentation standard on every job. 

Typical lead times run 4–6 weeks depending on material availability, quantity, and secondary operations. Quick-turn capacity is available for urgent requirements. Quotes come back within 48 hours.

Yes. Beyond machining, Steelcrest provides component assembly, assembly integration, and coating. That means a machined part can move through secondary operations and arrive as a finished sub-assembly rather than a box of components you have to route to another supplier.
